We are not a party / entertainment venue and concentrate mainly on transit travellers who require a peaceful stay. We provide free Wi-FI access and private parking in a secure area (electric fencing & CCTV cameras). We are not a self-catering venue.
All tastefully decorated rooms are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV and tea-and-coffee making facilities. The rooms are serviced daily. Free Wi-Fi. We have a generator for loadshedding that runs between 06:00 and 22:00.
A continental, English, vegetarian/vegan breakfast can be ordered on arrival at an additional cost.
Guests have access to the seasonal outdoor swimming pool and BBQ facilities.
The property is close to the R21, the N4 highway to Kruger National Park as well as the N1 highway leading up to the north. Menlyn Arena and Waterkloof Hoërskool are nearby. The nearest airport is OR Tambo Airport, 37 km from the property.

Friendly and accommodating
The Rest-a-While guest house is accommodating and very friendly. I had to book 5 single rooms for the same night that made the booking. The guest house manager was so helpful. the guests that stayed there were also very happy with the accommodation and booked an extra night.

Netjies, skoon en baie veilig.
Gasvrou het ons hartlik ontvang, baie gaaf. Kamers was skoon en netjies. Lekker swembad met lapa en baie mooi tuin. Buurt stil en rustig. Het baie lekker gebly en sal verseker weer van die gastehuis se dienste gebruik maak.

Tannie Ingrid het baie mooi na ons omgesien, lekker gebly en geswem. Pragtige kamers wat toegrus is met alles wat mens nodig het. Asemrowende mooi tuin, stil buurt, maar steeds naby aan alles wat mens nodig het. Dankie vir tannie se sorg, veral met ons fietse vir die wedren. Ons sien tannie gou weer.

Rest-a-While Guest House stay
Excellent place to stay whether it be for business or family. The facilities are always neat and clean and the rooms will cater for all your needs. They also make provision for load shedding and will accommodate special requests you may have. Very quiet area so it is a very nice place to stay if you need a bit of peace and quiet.

What a wonderful experience. We received a warm welcome on arrival. We were quite a big group and were handled with ease. The rooms and amenities are fantastic. Everything is well equipped. Rest a while is the bar by which other guest houses can measure themselves. Thank you for a wonderful stay

A Tranquil and Cosy Escape
Welcoming hosts, and a cosy environment. Clean good sized rooms, and great facilities. It’s the small touches that make a difference (like a small container of milk in the room and a jug to refill the kettle. One really gets the sense that you are wanted and welcome in this guest house. Cannot recommend it enough!

Wat 'n wonderlike ondervinding. Vanaf aankoms is ons hartlik verwelkom. Inklok was vinnig en maklik. Die kamers was baie netjies en skoon en baie goed ingerig. Die lapa-area was fantasties toegerus en was lekker om die aand langs die swembad te kon ontspan. Dit was regtig 'n baie lekker ondervinding.
